When looking for the right VPN, the terms safety and security should be synonymous with true anonymity. Incognito has been able to achieve this and together with other critical features, is appropriately recognized in technology blogs as well as on other prominent review sites. Its easy flowing and appropriately designed website give users a clear message of the meaning and importance of anonymity.
It’s obvious that Incognito has put considerable time and effort into their website and expertly conveys their focus with respect to online anonymity. Of high importance to any user is the ease in which their site can be accessed and navigated. The design team has really succeeded in this area by providing users with easy to use, logical navigation as well as being upfront with the products that they offer. The site also links users to sites that are logical and useful to their clients as with their ‘taking back the web’ feature that links to sites like, ‘Open Rights Group’ and ‘Save The Internet.
Incognito’s plans and pricing options offer user’s choices that are progressive as you step up from plan to plan. There are 3 plans to choose from: Cloak, Disguise, and Anonymous. Depending on the plan you choose, prices range from $4.95/mo to $9.95/mo with a longer commitment offering the biggest savings. Offers grow as you move up the price ladder with the most obvious difference being the number of permitted simultaneous connections and SmartDNS.
While the company is relatively new within the industry, one would never surmise that by looking at their feature list. With access being close to 40 locations in more than 30 countries and an exciting range of available protocols, they are able to provide users with all the services they will likely need. As an added bonus clients are also provided with a custom build web proxy that can be accessed from their dashboard along with free mobile applications and an astounding network uptime of 99.999%.
Incognito offers a wide range of protocols and while OpenVPN is considered the most secure, also available for connection to the service are IKEv2, PPTP, and L2TP/IPSec. The setting window in the desktop allows clients to change the protocols whenever they need to. As expected, Incognito never monitors a clients activity but do of course record the IP address of any inbound connection. While they do monitor bandwidth usage, there are no restrictions in that regard.
Their help centre provides customers with any support they may be in need of with options such as:
With remarkable fast response times, both the email support and live chat options are popular client choices. Support is accessed through their help centre where one can browse their knowledgebase which provides useful and reliable information and has an extremely user friendly search function. This is also where clients can generate a support ticket or access their live chat. Response from our support ticket was answered in less than 5 hours and our live chat request responded in a resounding 15 seconds.
The dashboard was clear and concise and gives clients a very friendly user experience. This is where users can manage all their account details including: add-ons, access to manual configuration instructions, web based proxy service, and billing.
With a logical and easy to maneuver UI (User Interface) the desk top expertly zones in on locations and connecting, which are typically the two most important areas for most clients. A server list is clearly laid out with the main panel providing the user with important information and connection options. One can also easily access settings as well as the tray/taskbar icon that provides connections to recently utilized servers. Settings are easily accessed complete with protocol selection, IP settings and behavioural preferences or startup/batter power, and more.
Clients can manage connections and locations using their Android and iOS users dedicated applications. Manual configuration allows use on a range of mobile devices. We tested the Android application on a Samsung Galaxy S5 and found it to be simple and incredibly fast. There was virtually no drop in speed over Wi-Fi of 30mbps when we connected to a server on the other side of the plant! We haven’t had a chance to test the iOS application but if it is anything like our experience with the Android application, we are confident that the results would be similar.
As a relative new comer to the industry, Incognito has proven itself as an innovative and progressive name that is helping to raise the bar on the VPN standard. If anonymity and privacy is your goal Incognito will not disappoint. For those who prefer manual configurations, Incognito has a great knowledgebase which provides the tutorials to help you through the process. Their pricing structure positions them as one of the best in terms of value for your money. Their great feature set and wide range of protocol offerings easily make them a VPN provider that we are happy to recommend.
Speaking as a man with lots of experience using VPN's, I can safely say that Incognito is one of, if not the best I have ever used - very impressive indeed.

I was struggling to find a VPN I really liked, but since finding your website I've finally found one. Great job, thanks for the recommendation.

Finally!! An easy to use VPN that doesn't cost the earth. I've used Pure and Express before, and this is by far the best and most cost efficient yet.
